Rork Interiors was given a brief by our client -
"to design and build the best craft store in Australia".
Rork interiors needed to create a superior space that could comfortably market and house national and international brands. Rork interiors appointed Paul Tilse Architects as well as Simone Interior Design to assist in creating a concept that would take the craft store to its new level.
The craft shop is a work of art but external factors including a tight working schedule and the extraordinary, high quality of materials required added to the complexity and challenge of the job. Furthermore, the building site was on the second level requiring all materials to be craned within a two day booking timetable. The base of the building was also incomplete, creating further logistical and negotiation challenges.
