Environment Management Policy

The objective of Rork Interiors is to implement environmentally sound and sustainable building, construction and management practices.

This is achieved through:

  • The establishment and continuous development of our Management System, ensuring that it is implemented throughout the operation.
  • The Management System is has been developed to comply with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 Environmental management systems and other Australian Standards and Legislation.

The Environment Management Policy aims are:

  • To design fitouts that encourage efficiency and minimiseenvironmental impact;
  • To review progress and continually improve its environmental management practices;
  • To comply with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act and relevant legislation;
  • To control and prevent airborn, water and noise pollution arising from Rork Interiors activities;
  • To monitor and review environmental objectives and achievements;
  • To provide an ongoing training program for all new and existing employees; and
  • To continually improve the effectiveness of the Management System.

In particular, Rork Interiors supports initiatives to:

  • Promotoe recycling and resuse of materials; and
  • Reduce waste at source and throughout the construction process through design and amangement initiatives (i.e. landfill waste).
