Rork’s Estimator extraordinaire, Nathan Ross, competed in the Inaugural Coates Hire Temora 1000 which was held at the Temora Airfield on Saturday 22nd October 2011.
The competition is a 1000m standing race for top speed fastest time and Nathan clocked a speed of 240km/hr which put him in 15th place out of 108 other competitors.
Nathan: "braking at 240km/hr on loose gravel was not fun !"
Nathan also won the trophy for “Best Coupe” when he competed in the 2011 ToyotaFest on Sunday 2nd October.
ToyotaFest is an annual event aimed at promoting and celebrating the enthusiasm of Toyota owners by providing an event where they can come together, display their pride and joy and chat with like minded individuals.
